Should the Church Support the Modern State of Israel?

As a Jewish believer in Jesus (born and raised in Israel), I want to make something clear from the outset: this article is not anti-Jewish. It is not written in hatred or prejudice toward my people. Rather, it is a biblical, historical, and prophetic critique of Zionism—specifically, the belief that Christians are obligated to support the modern state of Israel as part of God’s plan. I contend that such support is not only misguided but rooted in a theological deception that began centuries ago—not with the apostles or prophets, but with Jesuit counter-reformers, whose teachings were later popularized by men like John Nelson Darby and C.I. Scofield.
Many Christians today have no idea that their unwavering support for modern-day Israel is not based on sound biblical exegesis, but on a system called Dispensationalism. This theology, systematized by Darby in the 1800s and spread widely through the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, teaches that Israel and the Church are two distinct peoples of God and that the end-times revolve around the reestablishment of the Jewish nation and a rebuilt third temple in Jerusalem. But where did Darby get this futuristic obsession with a revived temple and a 7-year tribulation?
Surprisingly, this doctrine finds its true origin in the Counter-Reformation, when Jesuit scholars crafted an alternative eschatology to deflect the Reformers’ charge that the Papacy was the antichrist. Starting in the 16th century (1590), Francisco Ribera, a Jesuit priest, wrote a commentary on Revelation in which he introduced the idea that the antichrist would be a single man who would arise in the distant future and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Later, another Jesuit, Robert Bellarmine, expanded on Ribera’s ideas, giving scholarly weight to this futuristic framework (see here and here). Their intent was clear: shift the antichrist narrative far away from Rome so that suspicion of the papal office would dissolve.
But this was never just about theology. It was a calculated geopolitical strategy. For centuries, Jerusalem was seen as the crown jewel, the future headquarters for a global religious empire. In line with this vision, the pope set his sights on the Holy Land as early as the 11th century, orchestrating the Crusades and deploying the Knights Templar to seize it—not for Christ, but for Rome. The Vatican’s ambitions were clearly territorial. Jesuit futurism would later build upon this agenda, laying the groundwork for a revived temple not merely as a religious structure, but as a throne for the "Vicar of Christ." For the Jesuits and Knights Templar before them (militant orders of the Catholic church), Solomon's Temple has always symbolized a broader ambition: to bring Jerusalem under enduring Catholic dominion.
Yet it's important to note that this agenda did not die with the Crusades. Fast forward to the 1990s: the Oslo Accords, brokered under the oversight of U.S. President Bill Clinton and Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres (who would later serve as Israel's prime minister)—quietly advanced the goal of internationalizing Jerusalem, aligning with long-standing Vatican interests. Just months after the Oslo Accords were signed, the Vatican and Israel signed the “Fundamental Agreement” in December of 1993, formalizing diplomatic ties between the Vatican and Israel for the first time, which cannot be mistaken as a coincidence (see here).
Today, this same agenda continues under a new banner: the Abraham Accords, driven by Jesuit educated President Donald Trump and hailed as a breakthrough for Middle East peace. But behind the polished headlines lies a deeper motive—one that many believe includes plans for a rebuilt Jewish temple and the establishment of a false peace, setting the stage for prophetic fulfillment. We will examine evidence for this further below.
Christian Zionism today, therefore, is not the fruit of apostolic teaching—but the endgame of Jesuit strategy, repackaged by Protestant-looking men who themselves were duped—or worse—willing accomplices. If we are to be faithful to Christ and to the truth of Scripture, we must ask hard questions: Are we supporting Israel because of God’s Word—or because of a theological system designed to usher in a false peace, a false temple, and a false messiah?
What Is a Jew?
Before we can talk meaningfully about the modern state of Israel and Christian Zionism, we must first answer a foundational question: What is a Jew? This may seem like a simple inquiry, but the biblical, historical, and ethnic dimensions make it more complex than many assume.
Biblically speaking, a Jew is someone descended from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—a member of the covenant people of Israel. However, from the very beginning, that lineage was never strictly preserved in terms of racial purity. When Israel came out of Egypt, they did so as a “mixed multitude” (Ex 12:38), meaning that non-Israelites joined them and became part of the nation. Later, after entering the Promised Land, they continued to intermingle with the surrounding nations, often in disobedience to God's commands. As Psalm 106:35 says, “But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.” Judges 3:5–6 confirms this trend: “And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites… and they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.”
Further dilution occurred when the ten northern tribes of Israel were taken captive by Assyria and eventually assimilated into the Gentile world, never to return as a distinct people group (2 Kings 17:6, 18, 23). From this we begin to see that while race and genealogy mattered in Israel’s formation, God’s primary concern was never about preserving a genetically pure bloodline, but rather a people in covenant with Him.
This truth is beautifully illustrated in the story of Ruth, a Moabitess who became part of Israel’s covenant community not by blood, but by allegiance. She declared, “Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God” (Ruth 1:16). Ruth, a Gentile, would go on to become the great-grandmother of King David. So much for ethnic exclusivity.
Jesus confirmed this principle when confronting the Pharisees in Mat 3:9: “And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.” In other words, spiritual identity matters more than physical lineage.
This same truth is further reinforced in the following scriptures:
“For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” (Rom 2:28–29).
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.” (Gal 3:7)
“There is neither Jew nor Greek… for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Gal 3:28–29)
"...them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie..." (Rev 3:9)
Additionally, Paul makes a vital distinction in Romans 9:6–8:
“Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children… That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”
It is evident, therefore, that not all of national or physical Israel constitutes spiritual Israel—God’s elect. There is a difference between physical Israel, which includes those born into Jewish lineage, and spiritual Israel, which consists of those who live by faith and are counted as Abraham’s true children. While Jewish identity may include a biological aspect, what matters most is one’s covenantal relationship with God, demonstrated by faith and obedience. Thus, we may conclude that a true Jew, according to Scripture, is one whose heart is circumcised and whose faith is firmly rooted in the God of Israel—not merely someone born with Hebrew DNA.
The Modern Jewish Identity
Today, there are three primary streams of Jews, none of which can claim undiluted lineage to the ancient Israelites:
1. Ashkenazi Jews – These are the descendants of Jewish communities in Central and Eastern Europe, including Germany, Poland, and Russia. They developed their own customs, religious traditions, and even their own language—Yiddish, a fusion of Hebrew and medieval German. Most Jews in America today are Ashkenazi.
2. Sephardi Jews – These Jews trace their roots to Spain and Portugal before the expulsion in 1492. Afterward, many resettled in North Africa and the Ottoman Empire. Their traditions, liturgy, music, and cuisine differ significantly from Ashkenazim. They speak Ladino, a Judeo-Spanish dialect.
3. Mizrahi Jews – Often grouped with Sephardim, Mizrahi Jews hail from ancient communities in the Middle East and Persia—places like Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and Syria. Their religious practices and cultural customs reflect their Arab and Persian surroundings.
Importantly, Jews across these groups have come to physically resemble the people among whom they’ve lived. Ashkenazim generally appear European—light-skinned, fair-haired—while Mizrahim and Sephardim resemble Spaniards, Arabs and other Middle Eastern populations, with darker features and olive skin. This further underscores that modern Jewish identity is not purely ethnic but deeply shaped by geography, culture, and intermarriage.
So when we speak of “Jews” today, we must realize we are referring to a widely diverse group whose shared religious and cultural traditions often outweigh any traceable genetic purity. This again underscores the fact that Biblically, the emphasis has always been on covenant, not chromosomes.
European Jewry, the Vatican, and the Power Structure of the West
In this section, we will examine the modern structure of global power—and consider how the Jewish people, particularly European Jews, fit into that framework. This requires a closer look at their historical and financial ties to the Vatican and their role within the broader Western order. While this topic is frequently misunderstood or dismissed, it takes on new clarity when viewed through the historicist lens of classical Protestant eschatology, which identifies the papacy as the antichrist and the Catholic Church as the harlot of Revelation.
As a historicist, I hold the same view long affirmed by the Reformers, which identifies the papacy as the antichrist, and the Roman Catholic Church as "Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots" (Rev 17). This interpretation sees the Roman Catholic Church not as a true representation of Christianity, but as a corrupted, apostate religious system born out of the ancient Roman Empire—the fourth beast of Daniel 7. That beast, representing the Roman empire, was distinctly European in ethnicity and culture. Its dominion extended to the Western world, whose colonies—America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others—remain predominantly European in identity to this day.
This matters because the peoples of Europe are, prophetically, the people of the harlot, not because of their skin color, but because of their historical and spiritual alignment with Rome and its apostate religion. As Revelation 17:3 describes, "I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast…having seven heads and ten horns"—a clear reference to Rome, the city on seven hills, and the original ten barbarian kingdoms that arose from the fragmented Western Roman Empire (i.e. Visigoths (Spain), Anglo-Saxons (England), Franks (France), Alemani (Germany), Burgundians (Switzerland), Lombards (Italy), Suevi (Portugal), Heruli (now extinct), Ostrogoths (now extinct), and Vandals (now extinct). Europe, and by extension its colonies, form the visible infrastructure of this prophetic system.
Now, into this power structure come the Ashkenazi Jews, who are genetically and culturally European. While they trace their religious identity to ancient Israel, their ethnic composition is predominantly Caucasian. Genetic studies consistently show that Ashkenazim are more genetically similar to European populations than to Semitic ones. Estimates vary, but most studies conclude that Ashkenazi Jews are overwhelmingly European in ancestry, with only a tiny amount of Middle Eastern or Semitic DNA present (see here and here).
This is significant not because of race theory, but because it impacts how we understand their role in the prophetic and political landscape. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, the Rothschild banking dynasty—a family of Ashkenazi Jews—was appointed as "guardians of the papal treasure." This alliance between European Jewry and the Vatican challenges the modern Christian Zionist narrative. It shows that certain Jewish elites were not enemies of Rome, but partners in its economic operations—working hand in hand with the very power structure the Bible calls the whore of Babylon.
Yet the question for us Believers is this: Should we continue to support the Zionist cause, knowing that it serves the Vatican's agenda and finds its ultimate fulfillment with the antichrist pope enthroned in a future rebuilt temple? (More on this subject later.)
Note: It is highly revealing that the EU self-identifies as the beast-riding harlot of Revelation 17, as seen in the monument and Euro coinage featured below. To explore more about the identity of the beast (antichrist) and Mystery Babylon, please click [here] and [here].

Debunking the Claim that Jews Rule the World
The claim that “Jews rule the world” has long circulated among antisemitic individuals and groups, often wielded as a weapon against innocent Jews. But does it hold any truth? While it's true that Ashkenazi Jews have been disproportionately influential in banking, politics, media, medicine, and academia, their dominance must be understood within the larger framework of European supremacy and the prophetic dominion of the Roman beast. These Jews—European in both blood and culture—have, for the most part, been unwitting participants in a system shaped by and for Europe. Rather than acting as an autonomous force ruling over it, they have been carried along by the existing currents of European power and ideology. Their exceptional presence in global institutions only mirrors the dominance of the Western world—not a resurgence of any Semitic order. After all, the Jews of Europe are, in essence, European. Their notable achievements in finance and intellectual fields stem not from any biological superiority, but from a cultural tradition that values discipline, discourages hedonism, and emphasizes academic rigor and intellectual excellence. Any community shaped by such values will naturally rise to prominence in systems that reward those traits.
By contrast, Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews, whose roots are in the Middle East and North Africa, do not exhibit the same level of global influence and wealth as their European counterparts. This is telling. It suggests that the power structure is less about Jewishness as a religion or ethnicity, and more about Western imperial continuity, in which European Jews have played a role—not as the architects of empire, but merely as its beneficiaries.
This is especially evident in modern Israel. The founding population of the Israeli state was largely Ashkenazi and European, transplanted into the Middle East through the Zionist movement, which enjoyed the support of Western powers—Britain, America, and the Vatican. In this sense, modern Israel functions more like a European colonial outpost than a reestablished ancient Semitic kingdom. It was built and is being sustained by the same power that colonized the globe and continues to dominate it today—Vatican Rome and her puppet governments (i.e. America, Canada, Australia, etc).
Those who insist that "Jews run the world" misunderstand biblical prophecy. According to Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, it is Rome—the fourth beast—that rules the earth, not Israel or its Jewish people. Moreover, Deuteronomy 28 reminds us that if the Jewish people forsake their covenant with God, they will fall under curses, not blessings. “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low… he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail” (Deut 28:43–44). This is not a description of global rulership, but subjugation.
In light of this, the idea that Jews secretly run the world is not only inaccurate—it contradicts Scripture. The truth is that Europe, under its Roman legacy, controls the mechanisms of global power, and the Ashkenazi elite, being European, are enmeshed in that apparatus. Their role, while significant, is part of a much broader prophetic system rooted in apostasy, empire, and deception, as we shall soon discover.
Rome & Jerusalem: A Prophetic Alliance Spanning Two Millennia
The prophetic alignment between Rome and Jerusalem is not a recent development—it is a spiritual and political alliance that has unfolded over two millennia. When the Jewish leaders stood before Pontius Pilate and declared, "We have no king but Caesar" (Jn 19:15), they unknowingly prophesied their own fate. By rejecting their rightful King—Jesus Christ—they submitted themselves to the dominion of Rome, not just in that moment, but throughout the ages to come.
This prophetic act was fulfilled historically when the titles and powers of Caesar were transferred to the bishop of Rome, who later became pope. With the ascent of Constantine the Great and the merging of Church and State in the 4th century, the pope inherited not only Caesar’s imperial titles, such as Pontifex Maximus, but also his political authority. From that time forward, the papacy became the new face of Roman power—an unholy blend of religion and empire—prophetically symbolized by the harlot riding the beast (Rev 17). The harlot represents the apostate Church of Rome—the Roman Catholic Church—which controls the beast, symbolizing the Holy Roman Empire (i.e. the papacy), and fornicates with the kings of the earth, a vivid image of Rome’s enduring alliances and influence over global monarchies and political powers.
In rejecting Christ, the Jewish nation was handed over to a counterfeit authority. The prophet Zechariah foresaw this tragic exchange. He spoke of two shepherds—one true, one false. The true shepherd is rejected and dismissed for thirty pieces of silver (Zec 11:12-13), a clear foreshadowing of Christ. In judgment, God then raises up a worthless shepherd who “shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one... but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hoofs in pieces” (Zec 11:16). This is a chilling description of the antichrist system, and many have recognized in it the spiritual nature of Rome’s oppressive rule, especially through the Papacy.
Since that time, Israel has remained under Rome’s dominion—first openly, and now covertly through the machinations of the Jesuit Order, the Vatican’s most elite and secretive instrument of global influence. Though modern Zionism appears to be a Jewish nationalistic movement, the deeper reality is that the Vatican has played a critical, though hidden, role in shaping the modern State of Israel.
The Hidden Hand Behind Modern Israel:
Jesuits, Freemasonry, and the Rothschild Connection:
While most Christians assume that the modern state of Israel is purely the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, a deeper look into its foundations reveals a much more orchestrated reality—one involving the Jesuits, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and the Rothschild banking dynasty.
The roots of this network can be traced back to Adam Weishaupt, the Jesuit-trained founder of the Illuminati. A professor of canon law at the Jesuit-run University of Ingolstadt in Bavaria, Weishaupt was initiated into Freemasonry in 1777. Rather than keeping the societies separate, he used the Masonic lodges as a recruitment network for his Illuminist/Jesuit agenda, ultimately merging the Masons with the Jesuit Order. One of his top collaborators, Freemason Adolph Knigge, later accused Weishaupt of being “a Jesuit in disguise.”
The Jesuits, long known for their global counter-reformation strategies, played a central role not only in infiltrating Masonic lodges but also in subverting entire governments. Jesuit historian Augustin Barruel even wrote that the French Revolution was orchestrated by secret societies, many of them linked to Weishaupt’s Illuminati. This revolutionary spirit, blending Enlightenment secularism with esoteric ideology, laid the groundwork for the rise of Zionism—a movement that would, ironically, be used by these same forces to establish a secular, European-controlled state in the Holy Land.
At the financial center of this operation was the Rothschild family—European Ashkenazi bankers with deep ties to both the Vatican and Freemasonry (see here). According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, the Rothschilds were appointed “guardians of the papal treasure” (see here), linking them directly with the Vatican. Their financial power was instrumental in the creation and financing of the Zionist movement, and most importantly, the founding of modern Israel. Their clear ties to Rome indicate a collaborative, not antagonistic, relationship.
Even today, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, the Jewish heiress of the Rothschild banking dynasty, has openly aligned herself with Jesuit Pope Francis’s “Economy of Francesco” initiative and serves as one of the primary architects of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican (see here, here, and here). This council—comprised of global business elites, tech moguls, and banking giants—operates under the direct guidance of the Vatican, pushing for a new global economic system built on so-called “moral capitalism.” In reality, it represents a merger of papal spiritual authority with corporate and political power, laying the groundwork for the prophesied global control system of the antichrist, as foreshadowed in Revelation 13.
The Rothschild's influence in shaping the modern state of Israel is undeniable. Not only did they fund major Zionist initiatives, but they also financed and influenced the design and construction of key Israeli institutions, including the Knesset and the Israeli Supreme Court. It is no surprise, therefore, that the Supreme Court building, funded and designed under the oversight of the Rothschilds, is laden with Masonic and occult symbolism—including obelisks, pyramids, and solar motifs. The layout of the structure reflects esoteric geometry and numerology, typical of high-level Masonry. Likewise, the Knesset, Israel’s legislative body, incorporates Masonic symbolism throughout its structure and layout, reinforcing the idea that the state was architected not merely as a national home for Jews—but as a symbolic and strategic project serving a deeper agenda.
These aren't isolated cases. Throughout Israel’s public spaces, monuments in cities like Eilat and Tel Aviv bear Masonic emblems such as the square and compass, the all-seeing eye, and pyramid structures—often presented as philanthropic or historical commemorations by fraternal organizations.
The above picture is of a Masonic monument erected in the middle of the Israeli town of Eilat.
Moreover, Freemasonry has had a strong and lasting presence in the region since the 19th century, beginning under British, French, and Egyptian Masonic jurisdictions. Today, there are over 70 lodges under the Grand Lodge of the State of Israel, with an estimated 15,000 members (see here). Prominent Israeli figures with known or alleged ties to Masonry include:
Yitzhak Rabin (former Prime Minister) – Freemason
Chaim Weizmann (first President of Israel) – Freemason
Rabbi She’ar Yashuv Cohen (Chief Rabbi of Haifa) – Freemason
David Ben-Gurion (former Prime Minister) – Freemason
Shimon Peres (former Prime Minister)– received an honorary knighthood in 2008 and awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George
Benjamin Netanyahu – no confirmed lodge membership, but actively involved with Masonic-adjacent groups such as the World Economic Forum, Bilderberg Group, and Council on Foreign Relations
Taken together, these facts reveal that modern Israel was not merely a product of Jewish nationalism—but the result of a centuries-old agenda orchestrated by secretive religious and fraternal orders. From the Vatican’s long-standing ambition to reclaim Jerusalem, to Jesuit infiltration of Masonry, to the Rothschilds’ financial and architectural footprint in Israel, the pattern is unmistakable.
In truth, the modern state of Israel appears less like a restoration of biblical Israel—and more like a strategic outpost of the Western, Masonic, and Vatican-led global order, designed to prepare Jerusalem not for Christ’s return, but for a counterfeit throne.
Note: The following quotes and citations support and substantiate the claims made above:
"Johann Adam Weishaupt, (6 February 1748 – 18 November 1830) was a German philosopher, professor of civil law and later canon law, and founder of the Illuminati... Weishaupt began his formal education at age seven at a Jesuit school. He later enrolled at the University of Ingolstadt and graduated in 1768 at age 20 with a doctorate of law. In 1772 he became a professor of law. ...in 1773, Weishaupt became a professor of canon law, a position that was held exclusively by the Jesuits until that time. ...Weishaupt was initiated into the Masonic lodge 'Theodor zum guten Rath', at Munich in 1777. ...He used Freemasonry to recruit for his own quasi-masonic society... Presenting their own system as pure masonry, Weishaupt and Adolph Freiherr Knigge, who organised his ritual structure, greatly expanded the secret organisation. " –Wikipedia (see here)
"Freiherr Adolph Franz Friedrich Ludwig Knigge (16 October 1752 – 6 May 1796) was a German writer, Freemason, and a leading member of the Order of the Illuminati. He was allegedly initiated into Freemasonry in 1772 in Kassel... In 1780 Knigge joined Adam Weishaupt's Bavarian Illuminati and his work with the Illuminati gave the group a great deal of publicity. But in 1783 dissensions arose between Knigge and Weishaupt, which resulted in Knigge's final withdrawal from the group on 1 July 1784. Knigge stated that he could no longer endure Weishaupt's pedantic domineering, which frequently assumed offensive forms. He accused Weishaupt of "Jesuitism", and suspected him of being "a Jesuit in disguise" (Nachtr., I, 129)." –Wikipedia (see here)
"Augustine Barruel (October 2, 1741 – October 5, 1820) was a French publicist and Jesuit priest. ...In short, Barruel wrote that the French Revolution was planned and executed by the secret societies." –Wikipedia (see here)
“If you trace up Masonry, through all its Orders, till you come to the grand tip-top head Mason of the World, you will discover that the dread individual and the Chief of the Society of Jesus [i.e., the Superior General of the Jesuit Order] are one and the same person.” –James Parton (American historian)
The Vatican-Israel Fundamental Agreement (1993):
Following the Oslo Accords, the Holy See signed a formal treaty with Israel, securing legal privileges for the Church, influence over Jerusalem’s holy sites, and superior leverage in final-status negotiations. This was no mere gesture—it was a calculated step toward reclaiming spiritual authority over Jerusalem.
The push for an interfaith temple mount solution:
Many Vatican representatives and global elites—including those aligned with Jesuit ideology (most notably the late Jesuit pope Francis)—have called for shared governance of the Temple Mount, a move that would position the pope as a global “peace broker,” fulfilling Revelation’s vision of a one world religion headed by the antichrist beast.
In sum, the alliance between Rome and Jerusalem is not accidental—it's prophetic. What began with the cry, “We have no king but Caesar,” has matured into a system where Israel is once again under Rome’s authority, this time dressed in religious garments and hidden diplomacy. Having rejected the Good Shepherd, they are now under the dominion of the worthless shepherd—the false messiah. This alliance will reach its climax in the days ahead when the antichrist pope will sit in a rebuilt temple, declaring himself to be God (2 Thes 2:4).
No Repentance, No Land Inheritance: Israel’s Return Under Judgment, Not Blessing
A central claim of Christian Zionism is that the Jewish people have an unconditional right to the land of Israel. But this idea collides head-on with the clear teachings of Scripture. According to the Bible, the inheritance of the land was always contingent upon obedience to God's covenant, not mere ethnic identity or ancestral claims.
In Deuteronomy 28, God sets forth the terms of the covenant with Israel in unmistakable language. He declares:
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God… the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deut 28:1). But... “if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God… all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee” (v.15). “The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far… and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates… and thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body…” (v.49-53). “And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other…” (v.64).
This chapter alone utterly dismantles the notion that the land was ever promised without conditions. The covenant blessings were tied to obedience; disobedience would result in dispersion, destruction, and shame. And that’s exactly what happened throughout Israel’s history.
But even more striking is Paul’s clarification in Galatians 3:16, where he explains that the promises made to Abraham concerning the land and inheritance were not ultimately about many descendants, but about one singular seed—Christ:
“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” (Gal 3:16, KJV)
This verse reorients the entire discussion: the true heir of the land is Jesus Christ, and only those in Him, whether Jew or Gentile, are heirs according to the promise (Gal 3:29). Ethnic Israel does not possess a divine claim to the land apart from repentance and faith in the Messiah.
This is why the Bible prophesies a future return of the Jewish people—not as a reward, but as a setup for judgment. The prophet Ezekiel writes:
“And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness… so will I plead with you… And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.” (Eze 20:35–37)
This return is not framed as glorious restoration—but as a time of divine reckoning. God Himself says He will bring them back to confront them, to discipline and sift them, and to lead only a remnant into true covenant once again.
Jeremiah also foretells this return under pressure—not invitation:
“Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain…” (Jer 16:16)
This was fulfilled in part through the horrors of the Holocaust, which was exploited by the Zionist movement to galvanize Jewish resettlement into Palestine. There is credible historical evidence of collusion between certain Zionist leaders (such as the Rothschilds) and Nazi officials under the control of the Jesuits who orchestrated World War II (see here). This war, along with the purposeful extermination of Jews, was not only for geopolitical gains but to force the Jewish people back into the land, where God declared He would meet them in judgment.
But Scripture does not stop there. The prophets make clear that once Israel is back in the land in unbelief, judgment will fall again—this time with global ramifications.
“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people…” (Joel 3:2) “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about…” (Zec 12:2)
Far from being a place of peace and fulfillment, modern Israel will become ground zero for a final confrontation—a judgment that will shake the nations and purge the land.
In fact, Revelation 11:8 uses stark language to describe Jerusalem in the last days:
“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
This prophetic label—Sodom and Egypt—reflects moral depravity and bondage, not holiness. Is it a coincidence, then, that Tel Aviv is now known globally for its LGBTQ+ pride parades, often called one of the most “gay-friendly cities” in the world? Is it any wonder that secularism, materialism, and sin mark the modern Jewish state, even as it lays claim to biblical promises?
Modern Israel is not a holy nation—it is a rebellious nation in the land, awaiting divine judgment. To blindly support such a state is to misunderstand prophecy, ignore the covenantal conditions of the Bible, and potentially assist in the rise of a false messianic order that will culminate in yet another catastrophe—a second Jewish holocaust, this time not by Nazis, but by divine judgment, as all the nations are gathered against her according to Zechariah 14.
Yet this judgment is not without hope. For it is precisely through this furnace of affliction that God will bring about the ultimate redemption of the remnant as Jesus Himself prophesied:
“Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (Mat 23:39)
In the midst of distress, the surviving remnant of Israel will finally call upon their Messiah—not in political triumph, but in spiritual desperation. This climactic moment will fulfill Paul’s heartfelt longing and prophetic declaration:
“And so all Israel shall be saved…” (Rom 11:26)
This is not national salvation in a secular or ethnic sense, but in the sense of the elect remnant—purified through judgment—turning to Christ in genuine repentance and covenant faith. It will be the final answer to Paul’s prayer: “My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” (Rom 10:1)
Thus, the return to the land is not the culmination of prophecy—it is the prelude to repentance, the setting of the stage where God will confront His ancient people, purge them, and redeem the faithful remnant through Jesus Christ alone.
Zionism: A Project of Ethnic Supremacy and Annihilation
Zionism, far from being a unifying return of exiled Jews, has roots in ethnic supremacy. It has elevated European-descended Ashkenazim above Arab-identifying Mizrahi, Sephardi, and Ethiopian Jews, often marginalizing and persecuting these latter communities.
Ethiopian Jews and Covert Sterilization
In the mid 2000s, thousands of Ethiopian Jewish immigrants in Israel reported being given Depo‑Provera contraceptive injections without informed consent. Many believed it was forced during immigration processing or shortly after arrival (see here). While Israel later acknowledged misuse and reviewed the policy (see here), the disproportionate targeting of Ethiopian women points to systemic bias and coercion.
Racism Toward Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews
At Israel’s founding, Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews, whose appearance resembled Arabs, were openly discriminated against by many Ashkenazi leaders. Some were derogatorily called “Tzvartse Chaye” (“Black animals” in Yiddish), excluded from leadership and marginalized in education and housing—a dark mirror of colonial racial caste.
Palestinians: the Hidden Israelite Remnant
In a less-known but powerful chapter, Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben‑Gurion and the country’s first President Yitzhak Ben‑Zvi co-authored Arabs in Eretz‑Israel (1928), arguing that many indigenous Palestinians were biologically descended from Jews who remained after the Roman exile. Tsvi Jekhorin Misinai, a prominent Israeli figure in business and technology, has echoed this claim and conducted genetic research to support it (see here). During Israel’s formation, Palestinian families came forward with proof of Jewish ancestry and offered to convert back—but were denied citizenship (see here). This effectively drove them into alignment with the Muslim Arab states and labeled them outsiders in their own ancestral land.
Some Palestinian villagers—such as those in the West Bank—still maintain traditional Jewish practices: lighting Sabbath candles, abstaining from pork, and observing Fast of Esther (see here). These enduring cultural markers suggest a Jewish origin that contradicts the Zionist narrative of a distinct Arab national identity.
Ethnic Cleansing & Violence
It is a fact of history that Zionist militias executed brutal extermination campaigns to assert control over Palestinian land. One of the most notorious examples of this is the Deir Yassin massacre of 1948, in which Irgun and Stern Gang forces killed over 100 Palestinian civilians—including women and children—as part of a broader terror strategy to depopulate Arab villages. Similar atrocities were reported in Tantura, Lydda, Ramle, and across at least 68 other villages, where Israeli forces allegedly raped young Palestinian women, executed men and children, and buried the victims in mass graves, as detailed by Jewish historian Benny Morris (see here).
In light of the ongoing war in Gaza, scholars such as Peter Beinart and organizations like Human Rights Watch have described Israel’s current actions—including forced displacement, mass home demolitions, routine bombing of civilian areas, and collective punishment—as bearing chilling parallels to the genocidal campaigns once waged by Nazi Germany against the Jews (see here).
The Irony of Secular Zionism
Ironically, while many Israelis today are secular or non-observant, Zionism continues to claim a divine right to the land—even as the nation increasingly departs from the spiritual covenant that once defined biblical Israel. Modern Israel openly embraces LGBTQ pride parades, secular humanism, and policies that often mock or contradict biblical ethics—all while asserting entitlement to God's promises. This glaring contradiction underscores a vital truth: Zionism is not a biblical restoration, but an ethno-political project cloaked in religious language.
In light of this, Christians must ask the following questions:
Are we supporting an apartheid-style system of ethnic cleansing and racial supremacy?
Are we blessing a nation that, through spiritual rebellion, disinherits itself from God’s covenant?
What does it mean to support a state that mirrors the colonial strategies of Europe while denying the ancestral roots of Palestinians in their own land?
Have we confused God's promised blessings with what Scripture identifies as divine judgment?
Jesuits, CIA, Mossad, & False Flags: A Prophetic Power Play
While modern geopolitics often presents itself as moral leadership, beneath the surface lies a hidden architecture of false‑flag operations, intelligence collusion, and Vatican-engineered proxy states. The Bible warns in Revelation of a beast empowered to deceive nations (Rev 13) and today’s global intelligence networks are stepping into that role.
CIA & Mossad: Intelligence Allies in Deception
The Jesuit-run CIA has long been notorious for using false-flag operations to manufacture consent for war. Declassified programs such as Operation Northwoods (1962)—which proposed orchestrating terrorist acts on American soil to justify military action against Cuba—and the 1953 Iranian coup (Operation TPAJAX), which overthrew Iran’s democratically elected leader in favor of Western oil interests, reveal a well-documented pattern of covert empire-building tactics (see here). In fact, according to senator Ron Paul's testimony before congress, it was the CIA that directly played a role in radicalizing the Muslim world by financing the Madrasas and creating extremist sentiment across the Middle East (see bellow video).
Similarly, the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, is known to coordinate closely with the CIA, sharing intelligence and collaborating on regional strategies. Given this close alliance—alongside the established historical ties between the Vatican and the modern state of Israel—it is NOT unreasonable to conclude that the Mossad, much like the CIA, operates as a proxy instrument of Vatican influence in the Middle East. This is especially plausible in light of the Vatican’s ancient antagonism toward Islam, one of its primary religious adversaries. Within this framework, false-flag operations targeting Muslim populations serve a much broader agenda—one aimed at regional destabilization and control, carefully orchestrated by ecclesiastical and geopolitical powers working in tandem to fulfill the Pope's centuries-long ambitions for dominance in the Holy Land.
As already stated, the modern state of Israel is fulfilling its role as a Vatican proxy of war and control in a predominantly Muslim region. As a result, Israel's government has openly admitted to creating and financing Hamas in order to destabilize Palestinian unity and create ongoing conflict that justifies foreign intervention (see here, here, and here). Benjamin Netanyahu even stated that arming rival Gaza factions—including Islamist or ISIS-linked militias—“saves lives” (see here).
October 7th: An Inside Job
It’s no surprise, then, that many Israelis and political analysts suspect October 7th was a staged event (an inside job)—designed to justify the total restructuring of Gaza. This follows a classic false‑flag blueprint: provoke an attack or fabricate one, incite outrage, then execute a sweeping military campaign. However, it's important to note that just weeks prior to the Gaza-Israel war, Netanyahu appeared at the UN to present a Middle East trade initiative. This plan featured an economic corridor—dubbed IMEC—that cut directly through the heart of Gaza, strongly suggesting a strategic intent to transform and repurpose Gaza and its seaports for large-scale shipping and commerce (see video below). This suggests an ulterior motive behind the staged attack—namely, to pave the way for a false peace agreement between Arabs and Jews, resulting in a period of temporary peace and prosperity in the Middle East, just as foretold in Ezekiel 38:8, 11 and 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
Note: The following video links present compelling evidence that the October 7th attack was indeed an inside job orchestrated by Israel and carried out with the knowledge and involvement of Israeli authorities as a pretext to launch a full-scale war against the Palestinian people:
Pope Francis & Mahmoud Abbas: Last Moves
Just before his death, Pope Francis held private discussions with President Abbas—focusing on Gaza’s humanitarian crisis and paving the way for a new papal successor to carry forward the Vatican’s peacebuilding mission (see here). This meeting ushered in a papal mandate to shepherd two-state peace and orchestrate one-world ecumenism from Jerusalem. It also paved the way for the new Pope to shift his focus proactively toward the Middle East conflict, positioning himself as a key player in its resolution—in a manner favorable to papal ambitions and long-standing Vatican interests in the region (see here).
This nexus of Jesuit intelligence, Israeli proxy warfare, Vatican diplomacy, and scriptural prophecy should alarm any biblical reader.
Answering Common Objections
As expected, the claims made in this article will provoke strong reactions—particularly from those who have embraced Christian Zionism and dispensational theology. Below are some of the most common objections, along with thoughtful, biblical responses that uphold both truth and grace.
Objection 1: “God gave the land of Israel to the Jews unconditionally and forever!”
Response: This claim contradicts the clear teaching of Scripture. The land promises were always covenantal and conditional, clearly dependent upon Israel’s faithfulness to God. Deuteronomy 28 lays out the conditions plainly: “It shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God… the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deut 28:1). But:“If thou wilt not hearken… all these curses shall come upon thee…” (v.15), including exile and dispersion (vv.49–68).
Jesus Himself made this point unmistakable when He said: “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” (Mat 21:43) So, then, the stewardship of God's promises was transferred to the Remnant, those who walk in faith and obedience, who will be gathered to the new Jerusalem at Christ's return.
Consequently, God’s promise to Abraham must be understood through the lens of Galatians 3:16: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made... and to thy seed, which is Christ.” The land ultimately belongs to Jesus Christ, and all who are in Him—Jew or Gentile—share in the inheritance (Gal 3:29).
The land was never a blank check for disobedience. Even ancient Israel lost it repeatedly due to covenant unfaithfulness. Why would the standard be any different today?
Objection 2: “Isn’t God judging Gaza just as foretold in Zephaniah 2, so shouldn’t Christians support Israel’s war effort?”
Response: Yes, Zephaniah 2:4–5 does record God’s judgment upon ancient Gaza: “Gaza shall be forsaken… Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast…”
But this judgment was fulfilled in ancient times against the Philistine city-states. It is a mistake to read this as a prophetic endorsement of modern-day Israeli military action against modern Gaza, which is not populated by ancient Philistines, but by displaced Palestinians—many of whom are likely descendants of Jews left behind after the Roman exile.
Using ancient judgments to justify present-day warfare ignores the historical context of prophecy and misrepresents God’s justice.
However, there is a redemptive angle to today’s suffering. God is allowing the current shaking and devastation in Gaza not to destroy Palestinians, but to awaken them. Reports are multiplying that many Muslims in Gaza are encountering Jesus in dreams and visions, and are turning to Him as Lord and Savior in remarkable numbers (see here). What man intends for evil, God is using for good (Gen 50:20), to shake the people free from Islam and draw them to Christ. This is the same reason God has allowed suffering to touch all people—both Gentiles and Jews—that He might awaken them from complacency and false religion, and draw them to faith in the one true God of Israel.
Objection 3: “Aren’t the Jewish people still God’s special, chosen people above all others?”
Response: God did choose Israel to be a vessel of His covenant, but that calling brought responsibility—not superiority. In fact, Scripture teaches that judgment comes first to them:
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God…” (1 Pet 4:17)
“Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil… of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile” (Rom 2:9)
Moreover, God’s love is not partial:
“There is no respect of persons with God” (Rom 2:11)
“There is neither Jew nor Greek… for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28)
Being “chosen” never meant being exempt from judgment or uniquely deserving of land or favor apart from Christ.
Objection 4: “Are you teaching Replacement Theology?”
Response: No, and this is a misleading accusation. What is often called “replacement theology” is actually the historic Christian view held by the early church and most of the Reformers.
We are not saying that the Church replaced Israel. Rather, we affirm that God has one people, one olive tree, and one redemptive plan through Christ. As Paul explains:
“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them… thou partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree. Boast not against the branches… if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” (Rom 11:17–21)
Here’s the key:
God didn’t cut down the old tree and plant a new one (which would be true replacement).
Nor did He plant a second tree for the Church beside ethnic Israel (as dispensationalism falsely claims).
Rather, the same olive tree still remains. Some natural branches were broken off due to unbelief, and Gentile believers were grafted in by grace. This is the true Israel—the remnant plus the grafted-in wild branches.
This is not anti-Semitic. It is biblical, and it elevates the grace of God through Christ alone—not ethnicity—as the defining mark of God’s people.
Objection 5: “Shouldn’t we comfort the Jewish people for all they’ve suffered by supporting Israel?”
Response: Yes, we should absolutely grieve with the Jewish people for the pogroms, expulsions, and genocides they have endured. As Paul said:
“My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” (Rom 10:1)
But comfort does not mean blind support. Love must tell the truth. Supporting the modern state of Israel in its current state of unbelief only enables its vulnerability to Vatican manipulation and exploitation, and ultimately, divine judgment.
The Bible tells us the final regathering of Jews into the land is not to glorify them—but to judge them and bring them to repentance:
“I will bring you into the wilderness of the people… and there will I plead with you face to face.” (Eze 20:35)
“Jerusalem shall be a burdensome stone for all people…” (Zec 12:3)
“All nations shall be gathered against her…” (Zec 14:2)
This final judgment will be severe, but redemptive. It is through this great pressure that the remnant will finally cry out: “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (Mat 23:39)“And so all Israel shall be saved.” (Rom 11:26)
Objection 6: “Are you saying there are no biological Jews anymore?”
Response: Not at all. We fully recognize that biological Jews still exist, although in few number and highly diluted form. But the biological lineage is not the point of covenant or inheritance.
In the Old Testament, when Gentiles joined themselves to Israel, they became part of the nation and were bound to the same blessings and curses (Ex 12:48–49; Isa 56:6–7). The covenant was always open to outsiders who joined in faith.
Likewise, in the New Testament, Gentile believers are grafted into the same olive tree (Rom 11). This means what matters is not race, but covenant faithfulness.
“They are not all Israel, which are of Israel.” (Rom 9:6)
“If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Gal 3:29)
So yes—Jews still exist biologically. But that alone does not entitle anyone to the promises of God. Only faith in Christ does.

Conclusion: Which Kingdom Will You Support?
The modern state of Israel is not the fulfillment of biblical prophecy in the manner that many have been taught—it is the outworking of a far more complex and sinister agenda. Rooted in Jesuit manipulation, Masonic ritualism, and Vatican strategy, modern Zionism has become a tool of racial supremacy, geopolitical control, and spiritual deception.
Scripture is clear: the land was never unconditionally promised to a disobedient nation. God's covenant has always required repentance and faith. Jesus Himself warned, "The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof" (Mat 21:43). Paul, too, taught that the promises were to one Seed—Christ—and that only those who are in Him are true heirs (Gal 3:16, 29).
Yet modern Zionism has resurrected the lie that land can be claimed without the King. And worse, it has perpetuated a form of ethnic supremacy that not only excludes believing Gentiles, but also marginalizes dark-skinned Jews and Palestinians—many of whom are themselves biological descendants of ancient Israel. The sterilization of Ethiopian women, the historical slurs against Mizrahim, and the refusal to recognize Palestinian Jews who offered evidence of their ancestry all reveal the ugly racial hierarchy embedded within the Zionist machine.
Meanwhile, Palestinians—dispossessed, demonized, and displaced—continue to suffer the brutal consequences of this ideology. From the massacres at Deir Yassin and Tantura, to the current devastation of Gaza, Zionism has pursued its vision of a purified Jewish state through force, manipulation, and bloodshed. And yet many of these same Palestinians are now turning to Christ, seeing visions of Jesus, and crying out to the true God of Israel—proving once again that God's mercy is greater than man's schemes.
And now, under the banner of the Abraham Accords, global powers are racing toward a false peace. Political leaders and religious authorities under the Vatican's leadership—are promoting ecumenism, a one-world religion, and a two-state solution, all in preparation for the next grand deception: the rebuilding of the Third Temple. But this will not be a temple for Christ. This will be a throne for the man of sin, the antichrist pope, whom the Bible warns will exalt himself in the very place that once belonged to God (2 Thes 2:3–4).
Make no mistake: this temple will not honor Jesus—it will rival Him. It will revive the old sacrificial system, which Christ abolished once and for all at the cross (Heb 10:12–14). It will be the devil’s counterfeit—a religious monument to rebellion, financed by global elites, approved by false prophets, and blessed by Christian Zionism. And at its center will be the greatest deception the world has ever seen.
Jesus warned plainly: “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight...” (Jn 18:36). Christ’s kingdom is heavenly, eternal, and holy—not rooted in earthly politics or military power. Therefore, our allegiance must not lie with worldly kingdoms or political systems, especially those aligned with Satan’s agenda, but with the true Israel of God: the Church, the body of Christ.
So the question for every Christian is this: Which kingdom are you supporting?
Are you standing with the true Israel, the faithful remnant in Christ—Jew and Gentile together, purified by His blood? Or are you lending your support to a political system cloaked in religious claims, which despises the cross and prepares the way for antichrist?
Now more than ever, we must return to the Word of God—not the Scofield footnotes, not the Vatican's diplomacy, and not the Zionist propaganda. We must discern between the holy and the profane, between the everlasting covenant in Christ and the vain traditions of men.
For the end is not far off...
